We are seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to optimize cloud infrastructure and streamline deployments in an international team.

IAs a Platform Engineer specializing in Kubernetes, you will design and manage scalable containerized applications in an international team. Your role will focus on optimizing cloud infrastructure and streamlining deployments while collaborating with diverse teams to drive innovation and enhance service delivery.
The core facts
- Oversee the deployment and management of applications in air-gapped environments, ensuring optimal performance and security
- Implement and maintain standard IT security practices, including identity and access management, data protection, encryption, and certificate/key management
- Work effectively in complex environments, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
- Foster a DevOps mentality within the team, promoting collaboration, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
- Collaborate with Agile teams, utilizing tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub to enhance project management and communication
- Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables, facilitating smooth workflows and knowledge sharing
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of DevOps practices
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, architectures, and configurations to support team knowledge and compliance requirements
Your core competencies
- 5+ years AWS or Azure cloud infrastructures experience
- 3+ years experience with Kubernetes ideal OKD/Openshift
- Hands on Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD
- Experience with frameworks like Crossplane, Terraform, Ansible playbooks for building custom APIs and infrastructure as code
- Strong scripting skills, ideally Python, Bash
- Development background, with hands on experience of at least one programming language (e.g. go, java, python,…)
- Knowledge of systems monitoring, alerting, and analytics at the container level for APM tools, including Grafana, Prometheus
- Experience working with AWS and Azure cloud infrastructures, preferred both
