We are seeking a Test Automation Specialist to create stable, scalable, modular, reusable, and reliable automated tests using industry best practices and coding standards.
About the Job
Our project focuses on developing a new blockchain based platform for financial instruments, fully integrated into our group’s customer transactions ecosystem from client onboarding to transaction flow and customer wallet and portfolio management.
The core facts
- Design and implement automated test cases based on feasibility, priority, and coverage
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to ensure software quality.
- Create stable, scalable, modular, reusable, and reliable automated tests using industry best practices and coding standards
- Implement and maintain Automation Pipelines in Github Actions
- Provides a risk based testing approach.
- Troubleshoot failures daily and fix automation issues
- Research and implement new automation innovations to improve automation coverage and Run efficiency
- Continuously improve test frameworks and processes.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to develop
- Manages meaningful test reporting of the status on the test design, test coverage and test execution.
Your core competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proven professional experience in software testing and automation.
- Experiences in programming like with Java.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit
- Experience and Sound knowledge of Github
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to communicate efficiently both ideas and specific details to various stakeholders including team members, leadership, and other teams
- Proactive attitude
Nice to have
- ISTQB Foundation level or similar certification
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Familiarity with BDD and TDD practices.
- Knowledge of the Atlassian Stack especially Jira, Confluence and Zephyr
