Raiffeisen Tech is a platform that brings together IT talents from different countries. It consists of a Tech Hub in Poland and a Tech Hub in Romania and Kosovo.

About the job

In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing financial reports, analyzing budget deviations, supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, developing reporting tools and automating budgeting and forecasting workflows. Working with our team means helping shape the controlling system and having a real impact on the company’s operational efficiency.

  • Preparation of cyclical financial reports
  • Maintaining order in controlling files
  • Assisting the team with ongoing tasks and month-end closing
  • Analyzing revenue and cost deviations from budget and forecast 
  • Developing the reporting system, with a particular focus on Power BI
  • Controlling and analyzing the company’s general expenses
  • Participating in the process of preparing financial projections, budgets, and monitoring their execution
  • Supporting the creation and automation of processes related to budgeting and forecasting, as well as improving controlling tools
  • Participating in year-end closing processes;

Your core compenetencies

  • English proficiency at a level that allows for fluent communication (minimum B2)
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, Power Query)
  • Willingness to automate repetitive tasks and improve processes;•
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Controlling Department
  • Strong team-player with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • University degree (preferably in finance, accounting, or related fields)
  • Highly developed analytical and synthetic thinking skills, enabling interpretation of financial data and formulation of conclusions and recommendations
  • Independence, initiative, and effective problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to integrate various data sources into a coherent whole and draw meaningful conclusions.

Nice to Have:

  • Initial experience with Power BI  (ability to create a dashboard or having created several dashboards in the past)
  • Practical knowledge of database tools, especially SQL
  • Experience in software house industry / consulting industry.

  • After the pandemic, we operate on a hybrid basis.

  • Our office is located in the Koneser Praga Centre in Warsaw's Praga district. In the 19th century, the famous vodka factory "Koneser" was located here.
  • On site you will find restaurants, bars, cafes, a fitness club, medical centers, a modern hotel, art galleries and museums.
  • Our office, like the entire complex, is eco positive and has been awarded the Breem Excellent certificate. 
  • We have a private terrace at our disposal.
  • On a daily basis we segregate waste, save water and light, and in the summer season we take care of the meadow on the terrace.
