We are currently looking for a Database Developer with Informix knowledge for our international project in the IT Delivery Centre, is the bank's internal project.

The core facts

  • Maintain our legacy Host2Database Application within the financial instruments business domain.
  • Design, development, and maintenance of web applications with a common technology stack.
  • Driving architecture topics in exchange with the team members.
  • Identifying continuous improvements to drive the product forward, help the team and increase speed.
  • Supporting the product owner, especially with development-related issues.
  • Salary: 19 000 – 30 000 PLN monthly gross for contract of employment or net for B2B.

Nice to have (optional)

  • Experience in working with: Gradle, Java, Spring, Spring Boot (Webservices, Rest), Hibernate/JPA/JDBC, jUnit
  • GEOS know how
  • Knowledge and experience in working with: Logback, Kafka, Pulsar, C.
  • Experience in banking / financial industry.
  • German language knowledge.

Your core competences

  • Knowledge of: Host 3270, DB2, Informix, Spufi, Shell, scripting language
  • Knowledge of: CI/CD, Git/GitHub, AIX, Linux, SQL (incl. SQL-tuning)
  • You are a team player and have a proactive, structured and independent way of working.
  • Experience of working in the Scrum methodology.
  • Openness to delegations to foreign bank branches once a month.
  • Very good English skills.

  • We start work between 7:00 and 11:00.
  • After the pandemic, we operate on a hybrid basis.
  • The obligatory model is a minimum of one day a week in the office, but the decision to be on site is taken by the project teams together with their managers.

  • Our office is located in the Koneser Praga Centre in Warsaw's Praga district. In the 19th century, the famous vodka factory "Koneser" was located here.

  • Our office, like the entire complex, is eco-positive and has been awarded the BREEAM Excellent certificate. 
  • We have a private terrace at our disposal.

Screening call with HR (30-60min)

Interview (60 min)
